From the age of 2 all children should be seen by a Dentist regularly. To assist time poor parents who work long hours The School Dentist provides Little People Dental Clinics to the children in daycare and preschools. We see thousands of children every year and set them on the path to good dental health

Our Little Patients
First impressions count so we aim to make our little patient’s visit to the Dentist fun and interactive, all in the comfort of their familiar surroundings. Friendly and intuitive, our Dental staff have a special skill set that enables them to ensure their young patients relax and play an active part in their visit to the Dentist.

Parental Information
Parents are provided with a letter from the Dentist which outlines the dental status of their child/children, the treatment that was provided and if any further treatment is recommended. We work in conjunction with the Medicare Bulk Billed Child Dental Benefits Schedule as well as providing the same level of service for privately billed patients.

Cutting through the red tape:
Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) – Medicare Bulk Billed

This CDBS is a bulk billed Dental scheme for lower income families. Children aged between 2-17 are eligible for this service if their families are in receipt of Family Tax Benefit A or a relevant Australian Government payment.

The CDBS provides individual benefits for a range of services including examinations, x-rays, cleaning, fissure sealing, fillings, root canals and extractions. Benefits are not available for orthodontic or cosmetic dental work and cannot be paid for any services provided in a hospital.

Not eligible for CDBS?
We offer the same preventative dental treatments to children not eligible under the CDBS at very competitive pricing.
